The 1989-91 ZG 1200 Voyager XII was the continuing version of Kawasaki's full-dress shaft-drive touring bike, with the same 1196 cc four and air suspension as the 1986 launch. It offered luggage, a large fairing and a comfortable riding position for long distances. Its main drawbacks were straight-line stability and limited cornering clearance.
